The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 68%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, refractory bricks, blocks and tiles imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced downturn. Imports peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
