Moreover, Nicaragua emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Bolivia (X%), Honduras (X%), Chile (X%), Brazil (X%) and Mexico (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Peru (X p.p.), Argentina (X p.p.), Suriname (X p.p.), Colombia (X p.p.), Nicaragua (X p.p.) and Ecuador (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2022, the share of Brazil (X p.p.), Chile (X p.p.) and Mexico (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.
