In value terms, Brazil ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported dissolving grade wood pulp in Latin America and the Caribbean, comprising 63% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Mexico ($X), with a 22% share of total imports. It was followed by Colombia, with a 6% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Brazil amounted to +4.2%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Mexico (-23.5% per year) and Colombia (+3.4% per year).
