In 2021, Mexico (X units) was the largest importer of electric heating resistors, making up 69% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Argentina (X units) and Brazil (X units), together committing a 20% share of total imports. Colombia (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Imports into Mexico decreased at an average annual rate of -5.7% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Colombia (+9.7%) and Argentina (+5.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. The second position in the ranking was taken by Brazil ($X), with a 6.1% share of total imports. It was followed by Argentina, with a 5.8% share.

In Mexico, electric heating resistor imports increased at an average annual rate of +8.5% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Brazil (+2.5% per year) and Argentina (+3.3% per year).
