Moreover, Argentina emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a CAGR of +26.6% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Cayman Islands (-29.7%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Argentina (+24 p.p.) and Cayman Islands (+1.7 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Brazil (-2.1 p.p.) and Mexico (-25.5 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Mexico ($X) remains the largest electrical transformers with non-liquid dielectric, of power handling capacity over X kVA supplier in Latin America and the Caribbean, comprising 76% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Brazil ($X), with a 13% share of total exports. It was followed by Argentina, with a 7.2% share.
