The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 31% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, exports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments fell remarkably to $X in 2021. Total exports indicated noticeable growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.1% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports increased by +55.9% against 2016 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 74%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X, and then contracted rapidly in the following year.

Honduras (X units) and Guatemala (X units) prevails in garments structure, together achieving 89% of total exports. The following exporters - Mexico (X units), Brazil (X units) and Paraguay (X units) - together made up 7.7% of total exports.
