The second position in the ranking was taken by Honduras ($X), with a 14% share of total exports. It was followed by Brazil, with a 7.2% share.

In Mexico, mechanical hand floor sweeper exports expanded at an average annual rate of +2.4% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Honduras (+3.7% per year) and Brazil (+0.8% per year).

After six years of growth, overseas purchases of non-motorised hand-operated mechanical floor sweepers decreased by -9.8% to X units in 2022. Total imports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 24%. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.

In value terms, mechanical hand floor sweeper imports dropped to $X in 2022. Total imports indicated a buoyant increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.9% over the last decade.
