In value terms, Mexico ($X), Brazil ($X) and Chile ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, together accounting for 64% of total imports. Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Guatemala lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 25%.
Colombia, with a CAGR of +1.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the imports figures.
