In value terms, non-woven glass fibre articles exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a deep reduction. The level of export peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, Colombia (X tons) and Argentina (X tons) were the major exporters of non-woven glass fibre webs, felts, mattresses and boards in Latin America and the Caribbean, together recording approx. 76% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Mexico (X tons), creating an 18% share of total exports. The following exporters - Brazil (X tons) and Chile (X tons) - each accounted for a 3.8% share of total exports.
