The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 8.5%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Cuba (X square meters) and Brazil (X square meters) prevails in exports structure, together creating 85% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Mexico (X square meters), constituting a 9.7% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Cuba (with a CAGR of +22.3%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline in the exports figures.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 39%. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure at $X per square meter in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($X per square meter), while Cuba ($X per square meter) was amongst the lowest.

Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X square meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
