The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 8.5%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
Cuba (X square meters) and Brazil (X square meters) prevails in exports structure, together creating 85% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Mexico (X square meters), constituting a 9.7% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Cuba (with a CAGR of +22.3%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline in the exports figures.
In value terms, the largest photographic film supplying countries in Latin America and the Caribbean were Brazil ($X), Cuba ($X) and Mexico ($X), with a combined 91% share of total exports.
Cuba, with a CAGR of +28.6%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline in the exports figures.

The export price in Latin America and the Caribbean stood at $X per square meter in 2021, dropping by -18.6% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a slight setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 39%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X square meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

Import price indicated a remarkable increase from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.2% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, photographic film import price increased by +58.2% against 2012 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the import price increased by 16%. The level of import peaked in 2021 and is likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.
