In general, imports, however, recorded a deep reduction. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, self-propelled non-electric fork-lift truck imports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of import peaked at $X in 2013; afterwards, it flattened through to 2022.

In 2022, Mexico (X units), Brazil (X units) and Argentina (X units) was the key importer of self-propelled fork-lift trucks with non-electric motor in Latin America and the Caribbean, creating 75% of total import. It was distantly followed by Chile (X units), constituting a 12% share of total imports. The following importers - Peru (X units), Uruguay (X units) and Colombia (X units) - together made up 6.2% of total imports.
