From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Belarus stood at +200.6%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Russia (+78.1% per year) and Ukraine (+35.8% per year).

The average amino resin export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, picking up by 3.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a abrupt contraction. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belarus (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, supplies from abroad of amino resins decreased by -11.4% to X tons, falling for the third year in a row after two years of growth. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a prominent increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 126%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, amino resin imports contracted to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 90% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.
Imports by Country
Germany (X tons), Belgium (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) were the main suppliers of amino resin imports to Latvia, together comprising 69% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Belgium (with a CAGR of +306.3%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Germany ($X), Belgium ($X) and the Netherlands ($X) appeared to be the largest amino resin suppliers to Latvia, with a combined 72% share of total imports.
