In value terms, clove imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw a resilient expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 203%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
Imports by Country
Madagascar (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Comoros (X tons) were the main suppliers of clove imports to Latvia, together comprising 80% of total imports. Poland, the Netherlands and Estonia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 20%.
