From 2018 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Serbia (X kg), Hungary (X kg) and the Netherlands (X kg) were the main destinations of computing machinery exports from Libya, with a combined 4.7% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Hungary (with a CAGR of +36.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 349% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

China (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of computing machinery imports to Libya, together comprising 23% of total imports. These countries were followed by the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong SAR, France, Turkey, the UK, Italy, Austria and Japan, which together accounted for a further 12%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Turkey (with a CAGR of +58.3%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the Netherlands ($X) constituted the largest supplier of computing machinery and parts and accessories thereof to Libya, comprising 34% of total imports.
