The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 32%. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

Guatemala (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and India (X kg) were the main suppliers of nutmeg, mace and cardamom imports to Libya, with a combined 98% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for India (with a CAGR of +11.5%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced a decline.

In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) constituted the largest supplier of nutmeg, mace and cardamoms to Libya, comprising 68% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Guatemala ($X), with a 28% share of total imports. It was followed by India, with a 3.6% share.
