In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of sulphur, when their volume decreased by -43.3% to X tons. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 648% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons, and then dropped rapidly in the following year.
In value terms, sulphur imports reduced markedly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a temperate increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 1,083%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then fell rapidly in the following year.
