Amplifier Market Size in Lithuania

The Lithuanian amplifier market expanded remarkably to $X in 2022, growing by 9.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, consumption, however, recorded a perceptible setback. Amplifier consumption peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.

Amplifier Production in Lithuania

In value terms, amplifier production rose rapidly to $X in 2022 estimated in export price. In general, production, however, showed a perceptible contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the production volume increased by 33% against the previous year. Amplifier production peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, production remained at a lower figure.

Exports from Lithuania

In 2022, overseas shipments of amplifiers increased by 12% to X units, rising for the sixth year in a row after three years of decline. Over the period under review, exports recorded a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by 175% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X units. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, amplifier exports dropped to $X in 2022. In general, exports posted a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 76% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

Exports by Country

Armenia (X units), Poland (X units) and Hong Kong SAR (X units) were the main destinations of amplifier exports from Lithuania, together accounting for 32% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Hong Kong SAR (with a CAGR of +189.9%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Kyrgyzstan ($X), Kazakhstan ($X) and Norway ($X) were the largest markets for amplifier exported from Lithuania worldwide, with a combined 38% share of total exports. Russia, Hong Kong SAR, Poland, Turkey, Belarus, Latvia, Armenia, Switzerland, Estonia and Cambodia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 42%.

Hong Kong SAR, with a CAGR of +236.8%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Export Prices by Country

The average amplifier export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, falling by -11% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw temperate growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 51%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2019 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kyrgyzstan ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Cambodia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hong Kong SAR (+16.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Amplifier Imports

Imports into Lithuania

In 2022, the amount of amplifiers imported into Lithuania soared to X units, rising by 15% compared with 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a strong expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 71% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, amplifier imports expanded rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, imports posted a strong increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 123%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

Imports by Country

Germany (X units), China (X units) and Poland (X units) were the main suppliers of amplifier imports to Lithuania, together accounting for 66% of total imports. Latvia, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Estonia, the UK, Finland and Italy lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 26%.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Latvia (with a CAGR of +40.7%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Germany ($X) constituted the largest supplier of amplifiers to Lithuania, comprising 30% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Latvia ($X), with an 11% share of total imports. It was followed by China, with a 9.6% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value from Germany totaled +23.7%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Latvia (+42.5% per year) and China (+12.8% per year).

Import Prices by Country

In 2022, the average amplifier import price amounted to $X per unit, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a slight increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, amplifier import price decreased by -24.6% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 44% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $X per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
