In value terms, hypochlorites, chlorites and hypobromites exports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, exports showed a prominent expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 170%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

Slovakia (X tons), Latvia (X tons) and Kazakhstan (X tons) were the main destinations of hypochlorites, chlorites and hypobromites exports from Lithuania, with a combined 86% share of total exports.

Imports into Lithuania
In 2022, approx. X tons of hypochlorites, commercial calcium hypochlorite, chlorites and hypobromites were imported into Lithuania; waning by -28% against 2021 figures. Overall, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 50% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons, and then reduced markedly in the following year.
