In 2022, potassium chloride (mop) imports into Lithuania contracted rapidly to X tons, falling by -23.5% compared with the year before. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a moderate increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 74%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, potassium chloride (MOP) imports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed strong growth. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, Russia (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of potassium chloride (MOP) to Lithuania, with a 47% share of total imports. Moreover, potassium chloride (MOP) imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X tons), twofold.
