The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 21% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, sulphur imports dropped remarkably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports recorded a deep setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 151%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then dropped significantly in the following year.

In 2022, Uzbekistan (X tons) constituted the largest sulphur supplier to Lithuania, with a 57% share of total imports. Moreover, sulphur imports from Uzbekistan exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Russia (X tons), twofold.
