In 2022, the average net fabric export price amounted to $X per ton, falling by -15.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 200%. The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Belarus ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Uzbekistan (+155.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Lithuania
In 2022, net fabric imports into Lithuania surged to X tons, with an increase of 48% on 2021 figures. Overall, imports posted a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 201%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, net fabric imports amounted to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a significant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 163% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Turkey (X tons) constituted the largest net fabric supplier to Lithuania, with a 86% share of total imports. Moreover, net fabric imports from Turkey exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Poland (X tons), more than tenfold. Italy (X kg) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 1.6% share.

In value terms, Turkey ($X) constituted the largest supplier of tulles and other net fabrics to Lithuania, comprising 78% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Poland ($X), with a 7.1% share of total imports. It was followed by Italy, with a 1.8% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value from Turkey stood at +36.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Poland (+13.2% per year) and Italy (+7.2% per year).
Import Prices by Country
In 2022, the average net fabric import price amounted to $X per ton, falling by -30.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when the average import price increased by 40%. The import price peaked at $X per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the highest price was recorded for prices from Poland ($X per ton) and Italy ($X per ton), while the price for Turkey ($X per ton) and China ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+6.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
