The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 32% against the previous year. Belgium (X tons), Japan (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of lithium battery imports to Luxembourg, with a combined 77% share of total imports. France, Italy, the Netherlands, China and the United States lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 20%.
