France (X cubic meters) was the main destination for nitrogen exports from Luxembourg, accounting for a 64% share of total exports. Moreover, nitrogen exports to France exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Germany (X cubic meters), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Belgium (X cubic meters), with an 11% share.

Overall, total imports indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.0% over the last nine-year period.
