The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 34% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

France (X tons), Belgium (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of pig fat imports to Luxembourg, together accounting for 90% of total imports. The Netherlands, Italy and Portugal lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 9.6%.
