As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

France (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main destinations of plastic household ware exports from Luxembourg, with a combined 68% share of total exports. Belgium, Poland, the United States, the UK, Spain, Austria and Switzerland lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 26%.

Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

Poland (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Belgium (X tons) were the main suppliers of plastic household ware imports to Luxembourg, together accounting for 48% of total imports. Hungary, Italy, Spain, France and the Netherlands lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 49%.
