In 2022, after ten years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and cranberries, when their volume decreased by -23.4% to X tons. Over the period under review, imports, however, enjoyed buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 54%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then reduced rapidly in the following year.

Imports by Country
Belgium (X tons), Morocco (X tons) and Portugal (X tons) were the main suppliers of raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry imports to Luxembourg, together accounting for 71% of total imports. Spain, Peru, the United States, Germany, France and the Netherlands lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 23%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Peru (with a CAGR of +86.7%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
