The third position in this ranking was taken by Sri Lanka (X tons), with a 7.1% share.

Overall, export price indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. In 2022, imports of porcelain ceramic wares for laboratory, technical, and chemical use into Malaysia fell to X tons, shrinking by -9% against 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded prominent growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 with an increase of 68% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.

In value terms, porcelain technical ware imports fell dramatically to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a strong expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 74%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then shrank significantly in the following year.
