Australia (X units) was the main destination for fire extinguisher exports from Malaysia, with a 23% share of total exports. Moreover, fire extinguisher exports to Australia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, South Korea (X units), twofold. The third position in this ranking was held by South Africa (X units), with a 6.1% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Australia totaled +5.4%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: South Korea (-10.8% per year) and South Africa (+28.7% per year).
