The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 207% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

China (X tons), Indonesia (X tons) and Hong Kong SAR (X tons) were the main suppliers of plain postcard imports to Malaysia, with a combined 95% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Indonesia (with a CAGR of +63.4%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced a decline.
In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of letter cards, plain postcards and correspondence cards to Malaysia, comprising 66% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Indonesia ($X), with a 16% share of total imports. It was followed by Japan, with a 7.6% share.
