The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 169% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X cubic meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, oxygen imports declined modestly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a abrupt curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 116%. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Singapore (X cubic meters) constituted the largest supplier of oxygen to Malaysia, with a 79% share of total imports. From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value from Singapore stood at -5.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Taiwan (Chinese) (-13.7% per year) and the United States (+11.1% per year).

In 2022, the average oxygen import price amounted to $X per cubic meter, reducing by -2.9% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a mild shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 25% against the previous year.
