The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of 8.7% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Saudi Arabia (X units), distantly followed by the United Arab Emirates (X units), Iraq (X units), Oman (X units), Israel (X units) and Turkey (X units) represented the key importers of air conditioning machines, together committing 82% of total imports. Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, major importing countries recorded the following prices: in Israel ($X per unit) and the United Arab Emirates ($X per unit), while Turkey ($X per unit) and Saudi Arabia ($X per unit) were amongst the lowest.
