The United Arab Emirates represented the main exporter of amplifiers in MENA, with the volume of exports finishing at X units, which was approx. 50% of total exports in 2022. Turkey (X units) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a 29% share, followed by Israel (9.1%). The following exporters - Saudi Arabia (X units), Oman (X units), Iran (X units) and Bahrain (X units) - together made up 9.9% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Saudi Arabia (with a CAGR of +32.0%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest amplifier supplying countries in MENA were the United Arab Emirates ($X), Turkey ($X) and Saudi Arabia ($X), with a combined 83% share of total exports. Israel, Oman, Iran and Bahrain lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 14%.
In terms of the main exporting countries, Oman, with a CAGR of +28.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the export price in MENA amounted to $X per unit, declining by -3.6% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +4.5%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the export price increased by 23%. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Iran ($X per unit), while Israel ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Bahrain (+11.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, overseas purchases of amplifiers increased by 20% to X units, rising for the second year in a row after three years of decline. Over the period under review, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 40%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 15% against the previous year. The countries with the highest levels of amplifier imports in 2022 were the United Arab Emirates (X units), Egypt (X units), Turkey (X units), Iran (X units), Iraq (X units) and Israel (X units), together reaching 83% of total import. Algeria (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
