From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Israel (with a CAGR of +14.0%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, wood dryer imports in MENA soared to X units, increasing by 68% compared with the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a dramatic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 164% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, wood dryer imports surged to $X in 2021. In 2021, Turkey (X units), distantly followed by Morocco (X units), Qatar (X units), Iran (X units) and the United Arab Emirates (X units) represented the major importers of dryers for wood, paper pulp, paper or paperboard, together achieving 81% of total imports. Tunisia (X units) and Jordan (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Iran (with a CAGR of +21.8%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Turkey ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported dryers for wood, paper pulp, paper or paperboard in MENA, comprising 53% of total imports.
