Among the main exporting countries, Oman, with a CAGR of +23.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline in the exports figures.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in MENA stood at $X per unit in 2022, picking up by 116% against the previous year. Overall, the export price enjoyed a mild increase. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($X per unit), while Saudi Arabia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

The import price in MENA stood at $X per unit in 2022, growing by 33% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a abrupt slump. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
