The import price in MENA stood at $X per pair in 2022, reducing by -7% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, enjoyed a prominent increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 25% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs at $X per pair in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($X per pair), while Libya ($X per pair) was amongst the lowest.
