In 2021, the export price in MENA amounted to $X per ton, growing by 23% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 19% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in years to come.

The second position in the ranking was held by the United Arab Emirates ($X), with a 14% share of total imports. It was followed by Egypt, with an 11% share.

In Turkey, non-cellular polypropylene film imports expanded at an average annual rate of +3.0% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the United Arab Emirates (+10.7% per year) and Egypt (+0.7% per year).

In 2021, the import price in MENA amounted to $X per ton, increasing by 19% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Iraq ($X per ton), while Syrian Arab Republic ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
