Turkey dominates exports structure, resulting at X tons, which was near 79% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Saudi Arabia (X tons), making up an 8.6% share of total exports. Jordan (X tons), Egypt (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Iran (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to preparations for animal feeding exports from Turkey stood at +13.1%. At the same time, Iran (+31.9%), Saudi Arabia (+24.8%) and Egypt (+22.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. In value terms, Turkey ($X) remains the largest preparations for animal feeding supplier in MENA, comprising 73% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Saudi Arabia ($X), with a 7.1% share of total exports. It was followed by Jordan, with a 6.5% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Turkey stood at +15.9%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Saudi Arabia (+24.9% per year) and Jordan (+7.3% per year).

The export price in MENA stood at $X per ton in 2022, approximately equating the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.9%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 19%. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Jordan ($X per ton), while Saudi Arabia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the leading importing countries, was attained by Syrian Arab Republic (with a CAGR of +50.8%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest preparations for animal feeding importing markets in MENA were Palestine ($X), Turkey ($X) and Iraq ($X), together accounting for 40% of total imports. Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Syrian Arab Republic, Yemen, Tunisia and Oman lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 49%.
