It was distantly followed by Morocco (X units), Israel (X units), Iraq (X units), Tunisia (X units) and the United Arab Emirates (X units), together achieving a 45% share of total imports. Libya (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to straw for fodder balers imports into Turkey stood at +2.8%. At the same time, the United Arab Emirates (+16.5%), Libya (+12.3%) and Morocco (+7.4%) displayed positive paces of growth. In value terms, Turkey ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported straw or fodder balers, including pickup balers in MENA, comprising 56% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Israel ($X), with a 9.1% share of total imports. It was followed by Tunisia, with a 6.5% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Turkey amounted to +2.5%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Israel (-0.6% per year) and Tunisia (-8.4% per year).
