At the same time, Lebanon (+7.8%) and Turkey (+1.5%) displayed positive paces of growth. By contrast, Morocco (-3.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In value terms, Israel ($X) remains the largest wine of fresh grapes supplier in MENA, comprising 56% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Lebanon ($X), with a 25% share of total exports. It was followed by Turkey, with a 9.8% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Israel totaled +9.2%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Lebanon (+7.6% per year) and Turkey (+2.2% per year).
Export Prices by Country
In 2022, the export price in MENA amounted to $X per litre, approximately equating the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a perceptible decrease. The second position in the ranking was held by Israel ($X), with a 14% share of total imports. It was followed by Morocco, with a 6.6% share.
