In 2022, Argentina (X tons) represented the key exporter of cereal flours, generating X% of total exports. Brazil (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Colombia (X tons). From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to cereal flour exports from Argentina stood at X%. At the same time, Colombia (X%), Chile (X%) and Paraguay (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, cereal flour imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Overall, imports enjoyed a moderate expansion. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Import price indicated temperate growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, cereal flour import price increased by X% against 2015 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the import price increased by X%.
