Colombia (+2.8 p.p.) and Ecuador (+2.4 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Brazil saw its share reduced by -7.9% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Brazil ($X) remains the largest solid-liquid separator supplier in MERCOSUR, comprising 79% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Argentina ($X), with an 8.3% share of total exports. It was followed by Chile, with a 4.6% share.
In Brazil, solid-liquid separator exports decreased by an average annual rate of -11.1% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Argentina (-12.0% per year) and Chile (-2.4% per year).

In 2022, solid-liquid separator imports in MERCOSUR fell to X units, declining by -10.5% compared with the previous year's figure. In general, imports saw a slight setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 19% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
