The export price in MERCOSUR stood at $X per unit in 2021, surging by 11% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 267%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2018 to 2021, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Brazil (X units) was the major importer of pumps for dispensing liquids, achieving 45% of total imports. Colombia (X units) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Chile (X units), Argentina (X units) and Peru (X units). All these countries together took near 41% share of total imports. The following importers - Guyana (X units) and Suriname (X units) - each resulted at a 7.2% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to liquid dispensing pump imports into Brazil stood at -5.4%. At the same time, Chile (+22.8%), Guyana (+18.5%), Peru (+18.2%), Colombia (+13.5%) and Argentina (+9.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Chile emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in MERCOSUR, with a CAGR of +22.8% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Suriname (-11.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Chile (+11 p.p.), Colombia (+9.8 p.p.), Peru (+6.6 p.p.), Argentina (+5.8 p.p.) and Guyana (+3.1 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Suriname and Brazil saw its share reduced by -4.3% and -10% from 2012 to 2021, respectively.

In value terms, the largest liquid dispensing pump importing markets in MERCOSUR were Argentina ($X), Brazil ($X) and Colombia ($X), with a combined 72% share of total imports.

Colombia, with a CAGR of +14.1%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the import price in MERCOSUR amounted to $X per unit, waning by -11% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, enjoyed a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 61% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit, and then contracted in the following year.
