Brazil prevails in imports structure, finishing at X tons, which was near 84% of total imports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Argentina (X tons), achieving an 8% share of total imports. The following importers - Colombia (X tons) and Peru (X tons) - each recorded a 4.2% share of total imports.

Imports into Brazil increased at an average annual rate of +8.6% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Peru (+20.6%) and Argentina (+15.5%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Peru emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in MERCOSUR, with a CAGR of +20.6% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Colombia (-4.4%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Brazil (+11 p.p.) and Argentina (+4.1 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2021, the share of Colombia (-4 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Brazil ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported radio remote control apparatus in MERCOSUR, comprising 56% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Argentina ($X), with a 14% share of total imports. It was followed by Peru, with an 8.9% share.

In Brazil, remote control apparatus imports increased at an average annual rate of +6.3% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Argentina (+10.7% per year) and Peru (+16.0% per year).
