In 2021, shipments abroad of cycles with auxiliary motors and side cars increased by 250% to X units, rising for the second consecutive year after two years of decline. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a noticeable descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 263% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, exports of cycles with auxiliary motors and side cars skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a deep reduction. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by 135%. The volume of import peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, imports of cycles with auxiliary motors and side cars surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports saw significant growth.
