For the fourth consecutive year, the Mexican concrete mixer market recorded growth in sales value, which increased by 1.3% to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, concrete mixer exports soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, total exports indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.5% over the last nine-year period. In value terms, concrete mixer imports dropped sharply to $X in 2021. In general, imports recorded a abrupt downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 59%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of concrete mixer to Mexico, accounting for a 60% share of total imports.
