In value terms, Turkey ($X) remains the largest aluminium window and door supplier in the Middle East, comprising 76% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the United Arab Emirates ($X), with a 10% share of total exports. It was followed by Lebanon, with a 5.4% share.
In Turkey, aluminium window and door exports expanded at an average annual rate of +8.2% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the United Arab Emirates (-2.7% per year) and Lebanon (+23.9% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The export price in the Middle East stood at $X per ton in 2021, rising by 5.9% against the previous year. Over the last nine-year period, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.4%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the export price increased by 12% against the previous year. The level of export peaked in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in the near future.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Palestine ($X per ton), while the United Arab Emirates ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+6.3%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

In 2021, imports of aluminium doors, thresholds for doors and windows in the Middle East soared to X tons, increasing by 18% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a deep reduction. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, aluminium window and door imports rose to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, showed a mild reduction.
