The United Arab Emirates was the largest exporting country with an export of about X units, which accounted for 51% of total exports. Turkey (X units) took the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Israel (X units). All these countries together took near 38% share of total exports. Saudi Arabia (X units), Oman (X units), Iran (X units) and Bahrain (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Saudi Arabia (with a CAGR of +32.0%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest amplifier supplying countries in the Middle East were the United Arab Emirates ($X), Turkey ($X) and Saudi Arabia ($X), together comprising 84% of total exports. Israel, Oman, Iran and Bahrain lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 14%.
Oman, with a CAGR of +28.5%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
In 2022, the export price in the Middle East amounted to $X per unit, declining by -3.6% against the previous year. Export price indicated a notable expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.6% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 26%. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Iran ($X per unit), while Israel ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Bahrain (+11.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, supplies from abroad of amplifiers increased by 9.4% to X units, rising for the second consecutive year after three years of decline. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 74% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, amplifier imports dropped slightly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a mild decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 14% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
In 2022, the United Arab Emirates (X units), distantly followed by Turkey (X units), Iran (X units), Iraq (X units) and Israel (X units) were the key importers of amplifiers, together generating 90% of total imports. The following importers - Kuwait (X units) and Qatar (X units) - together made up 5% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Iraq (with a CAGR of +9.9%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported amplifiers in the Middle East, comprising 36% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Israel ($X), with an 18% share of total imports. It was followed by Turkey, with a 17% share.
