Circuit Breaker Market Size in the Middle East

The Middle Eastern circuit breaker market fell slightly to $X in 2022, with a decrease of -2.1% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, circuit breaker exports soared to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by 18%. In Turkey, circuit breaker exports expanded at an average annual rate of +1.9% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the United Arab Emirates (+3.9% per year) and Saudi Arabia (+10.5% per year).

The export price in the Middle East stood at $X per unit in 2022, flattening at the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a mild curtailment. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

Israel, with a CAGR of +4.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in the Middle East amounted to $X per unit, waning by -12.7% against the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a noticeable setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the import price increased by 12% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2015 to 2022, the import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Kuwait ($X per unit), while Iraq ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
