Exports by Country

Turkey dominates exports structure, finishing at X tons, which was approx. 85% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by the United Arab Emirates (X tons), mixing up a 7.9% share of total exports. Jordan (X tons) and Oman (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to brassiere, girdle and corset exports from Turkey stood at +11.7%. At the same time, Oman (+71.1%) and the United Arab Emirates (+34.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.7% from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being observed in certain years. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 24%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

The second position in the ranking was held by Saudi Arabia ($X), with a 16% share of total imports. It was followed by Israel, with a 13% share.
