From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, the United Arab Emirates (X units), Iraq (X units), Oman (X units), Israel (X units) and Turkey (X units) was the major importer of civil helicopters in the Middle East, constituting 80% of total import. Iran (X units) held a 5.7% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Kuwait (5.7%).
